Jim Miller - Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Business Development

Jim leads the worldwide sales and business development organizations at Polatis. He has more than 28 years of outstanding performance in sales leadership and profitable sales growth in the communications and networking infrastructure marketplace.

Most recently, Jim held the position of Vice President of Sales and Services at Ellacoya Networks, who recently was bought by Arbor Networks. Previously, Jim was VP Sales at Trapeze Networks, a developer of wireless local area networking (WLAN) solutions. Before joining Trapeze, Jim was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Service for Ocular Networks which was acquired by Tellabs. Before Ocular/Tellabs, Jim held the position of Vice President of Sales and helped start Advanced Switching Communications (ASC), where he was responsible for all sales and systems engineering. Before ASC, Jim held various key management and sales positions as VP Sales at Data Labs/Yurie Systems bought by Lucent, Director of Carrier Sales at Ascend Communications later merged with Cascade and bought by Lucent and Eastern Regional Manager at Wellfleet Communications, Inc./Bay Networks. Jim also started the Data Sales group at Anixter Inc.
