The DirectLight Manager provides users with a convenient visual configuration utility, enabling at-a-glance confirmation of connections, power levels and port attributes. Switch maps may be toggled between a physical port-to-port map, and a table format to illustrate connectivity. This intuitive interface allows rapid set up of experiments with minimal scripting requirements. As a client application, the GUI may be used anywhere in the network, enabling remote monitoring of measurements.

The graphical interface is also a useful troubleshooting tool for scripted environments, providing rapid confirmation of configurations and signal conditions. Advanced features are also available, providing more flexibility. User groups/privileges, port reservations, and port groupings to form logical links between objects are also possible. Compatible with Windows environments.
